Maybe it’s the service. Maybe it’s the friends, the Kiwanis Family experience, or even the satisfaction you get knowing you’re making a difference in someone’s life. Whatever reason suits you best, you have made an important decision – the decision to change the world around you by joining the world’s largest (and greatest) collegiate service organization, Circle K. The choice you have made is an excellent one and it will affect thousand’s of lives. How you may ask? Through the smiles you put on the faces of children, the aid you send to water deprived countries through UNICEF, and the memories made by attending events like Kiwanis One Day. I hope you realize the affect you are having on the world as a member of CKI and I sincerely thank you for all of your hard work this year.
As impressive as your accomplishments are; most importantly each club has worked hard to bring change and at the same time continue it’s tradition of excellence and caring. On any given day you can find a CKI member helping spread literacy by reading to a child, fundraise for the Six Cents Initiative, or playing BINGO at a nursing home. This year more clubs have created and executive innovative projects and more members have experienced comprehensive servant leadership training then ever before. Not a single moment has passed this year where I wasn’t truly touched and appreciative towards everyone’s service efforts and actions. Not a single moment passed when I wasn’t proud to be your International Representative. Keep serving, keep caring, and keep on being the best Sub-region you can be!
